Lac Vert
Some of the best walks can be taken directly from the apartment, or from higher up the mountain at Plaine-Joux, a 10 minute drive away.
Our favourite walk is to Lac Vert, which can be reached from a number of different trails. A little further away is Les Ayères fountain in an alpine meadow above the Plaine-Joux ski area.
Plaine-Joux itself is a great spot for watching paragliders descending over the valley and has a number of restaurants and bars open in the summer months.
Via Ferrata
Above the village there is also a via ferrata route, suitable for anyone with a head for heights. bring your own equipment or rent a harness during the summer months from the shed at the bottom of the trail.
